We went down to Blackheath to play their second team most of us thinking that we've actually got a chance here, we might win. I think if anyone would have known what was going to happen we would have turned back and gone to the pub instead. Blackheath II just above us in the table and have lost their last two games, it could really go either way. But unfortunately Millwall Venus went out on the pitch and performed poorly, missed tackles, lost possession of the ball, and one time after the other let them run straight through our so called defensive line and score one try after the other. There is nothing to say about this match except that we didn't use the skills we've got at all and we certainly didn't communicate. And there is absolutely no excuse.
However it should be mentioned that there were some good individual performances by the Venus girls. On the other hand, that doesn't help, we need to go back to what we were doing last week and play as a team.
